A modern and ergonomic design, an aesthetic that combines industrial elements with simple, clean lines, high-tech solutions and dynamic details. Three floors, 3,100 square meters of covered area, a state-of-the-art and fully automated production line, an impressive 320 square meters conference centre, 600 square meters of industrialized warehouse, cafeteria, patio, and modern office spaces with rich natural lighting, covering an area of 1,150 square meters.
«Green» solutions
In an effort to preserve the character of the original industrial building dating back to the 1950s, the interventions were minimal and in line with the identity of the area, in a way that serves the current use without altering its unique style.
The large openings allowing the natural Greek light and the wind blowing from the Saronic Gulf to “invade” the space required thoughtful energy planning. All glazing were constructed using energy-saving glass, which offer reduced energy consumption and increased thermal comfort, while fully protecting from the sun.
Additionally, the entire building was covered with a thick thermal façade for the same reasons. Apart from the building characteristics, however, a great effort was also put into the electromechanical installations to achieve low consumption.
320 square meters, housing a fully automated electronic board production line, a state-of-the-art automated visual inspection system for electronic circuit boards, as well as a specially designed area for mechanical work and final product assembly.
On the building’s ground floor is a 600 square meters storeroom with an industrial split-level storage system, claiming an initial capacity of 600 pallets and with a possibility of increasing those amounts up to twofold.
A luxurious lobby of 60 square meters, made of white marble and chestnut wood, with office space and guest lounge area, as well as provision for disabled access.
1,150 square meters of the building’s first floor, with a capacity of 150 workstations in an open-plan layout, unobstructed natural light and ventilation from all sides, high ceilings and provision for sound absorption to ensure optimal comfort and working conditions.
50 square meters that house a state-of-the-art data centre, which meets all modern safety, uninterrupted operation and sustainability standards. The data centre has the ability to offer cloud computing and disaster recovery services, as well as to meet all the needs of the companies housed in the building for high-speed network and reliable internet connection. The data center has 12 racks for the installation of servers and network devices, a cooling and a fire extinguishing system, UPS, temperature and humidity monitoring sensors, CCTV cameras and physical access control.
On the second floor of the building, in a 350 square meter room, a modern conference centre has been created, with the capacity to accommodate up to 150 delegates.
Right next to the conference centre, there is a 70 square meter cafeteria, with an extra 60-meter outdoor patio, designed to accommodate employee needs, as well as a series of company functions.
The outdoor area of the building accounts for 800 accessible square meters, and will host employee breaks, outdoor events, not to mention smart farming experiments that will take place to specially created test sites.
